Summium technology has been recently updated. In the Summium 5 product development safety was an important target. Therefore, the similar architecture as in banking systems was selected. Summium meets the requirements of confidential information.
Wapice’s growth continues

In the first five months of 2010 Wapice grew approximately 20 % compared to last year. The growth was profitable. Wapice aims to reach turnover of 9 MEUR in 2010. The target seems realistic at the moment. In 2009 the turnover reached 7, 3 MEUR, which was 12 % more than in 2008.
In 2010 Wapice has recruited over 10 new employees so far. The new employees work in embedded programming, electronics design, Java programming, remote management and business solutions. Geographically they are located in Vaasa and Tampere.
The total number of employees at Wapice was in June nearly 150. The offices are located in Vaasa (Palosaari and Runsor), Tampere, Hyvinkää, Seinäjoki and Oulu in Finland. In addition to that Wapice also has employees in Turku, Pori and Helsinki. In ten years Wapice has become one of the biggest industrial-focused software companies in Finland.

Wapice has released a new version of Summium sales confiugrator at ICT Expo trade fair in Helsinki 13.4.2010. The sales configurator speeds up the process of creating offers and orders. Especially companies producing and selling mass customized products or complex products benefit from using a sales configurator. Different user groups have access to the information they need at their work and get real-time reports on things they need to control. Summium 5 can be integrated to other systems at the company.
