New Summium version 4.0 speeds up sales

Summium answers to the constantly growing challenges in product structures with a new configurator core. The new versions are in use immediately in the web version and in February 2009 in the client-server version.
The core of Summium sales configurator has been rewritten and the new version has been proven significantly faster in the tests compared to the current one, especially in large product families. The use of memory on the server has also decreased
essentially, which means the servers' resource needs has decreased. The old version can be updated for the current customers if required and new customers will automatically get the new version. The handling of subproduct families has improved enabling versatile and flexible handling of both user interfaces and product models.
Summium has over 4000 users, the number of users is growing rapidly. The web version of Summium 4.0 was taken into use in December 2008 for some of our test customers. The client-server version is in testing stages and will be launched according to schedule in February 2009.

Summium continues to expect to generate more than 80% growth in sales in 2008. In 2007 the growth has been 60%. Summium is a sales configurator targeted for mass-tailored industrial products.

Summium has now over 3000 users

Recent surveys by Wapice Summium group, tracked more than
3,000 users who use Summium sales configurator world wide. The number of users is increasing rapidly.
